Jazz AWE with Darlene Cooper Trio
The Fort Langley Jazz and Arts Festival is presenting Jazz AWE with the Darlene Cooper Trio as the final concert of the festival. This one hour of music with some words of inspirations will be hosted by Rev Sophia Ducey. It will be a celebration of music, love and life and will take place in the historic St Andrew’s Chapel.
Darlene will be joined by Bill Sample (piano and vocals) and Steve Hilliam (sax). They will be playing some jazzy gospel style songs many of which Bill and Darlene have written. Hope to see you there!
Darlene’s powerful and sultry vocals paired with Bill Sample’s gospel jazz piano stylings sets a soul moving vibe. Then, add in Steve Hilliam, one of the most sought after sax players who regularly tours with Colin James and Michael Kaeshammer, and they will bring the house down.

Wild Blue Herons bring their jazz/gospel groove of select standards and original tunes to the Golden Ears United Church Jazz Vespers on Sunday February 25th at 4 pm. This is one hour of jazz music, readings, and spoken prayer to lift your spirits.
